The Kuru Dance Festival will be a 2 day event from August 24th - 25th, 2018 (the weekend of the full moon) at the Dqae Qare San Lodge, near Ghanzi, Botswana. This will be the 20th year the festival has taken place.

The festival will feature numerous San dance groups from Botswana and Namibia. The festival will be a unique cultural experience to all those who attend, allowing us to share in the rich culture and beautiful traditional dances and music of the San People. This celebration of the San culture is catered both to locals and to a wider international audience.

-Friday 7pm - 11pm (or later) traditional healing dances
-Saturday 10am - 11pm opening ceremony and more dancing
-Sunday - Departure

Price: P100 for Friday, P150 for Saturday, P200 for both days. Tickets for children under 12 years old are half price, and children under 6 attend for free.


This price includes entrance fees only. Food and Drink available for purchase, camping available for additional charge.
